Hey bobbers,

It’s been almost six months since my last post, and since then, a LOT has changed.  I earned my teaching credential, found out I’m going to be an aunt, and got married! My husband and I have been together for almost ten years, and though I always knew we would get married, nothing can explain the feeling I had walking down the aisle to make it official. I love being a missus!

The week of the wedding, my skin broke out something fierce.  I purchased a Groupon for a facial, but when I called for an appointment, I found out the facialist was out of town on vacation! In a panic, I contacted my friend Anna, and she recommended Jun’s Beauty Salon in San Francisco (http://www.yelp.com/biz/juns-beauty-salon-san-francisco).  For $80, Jun gave me an extremely thorough two-hour facial that left my skin significantly clearer within two days.  Anna (and Jun), you saved my skin! :)

And you know me, I had to get my hair and makeup done professionally.  How often do you get married (I’m hoping just this once, thank you)?  My hair is only mid-length, so I decided to get extensions.  At first, I was hesitant, worrying that I wouldn’t look like myself, but luckily I had the best bridesmaids who assured me that if I couldn’t go glam for my wedding, when could I?  My awesome hair and makeup artist, Vanity Pham from San Francisco (vanitypham.com), used clip-in extensions to give me the lush look without the hair damage.  The makeup she gave me was dramatic, but not over-the-top.  I definitely recommend checking her out if you have an event coming up and wanna get glam.

Now that all that wedding planning and studying is finished, I’m back on Beauty or Bust and ready to dish on all things beauty! Here are a couple of pics from the wedding (one with my pregnant sister, and one with my hubby).  Stay beautiful!
